Goddess Provisions December 2015 Box Review
Have y’all checked out Goddess Provisions, a vegan subscription box founded by the peeps at Vegan Cuts? It especially speaks to my heart because it’s curated “to have beautiful tools for nourishing your divine feminine and growing your spiritual practice”… I’ve been all about mystical, mindful, and spiritual enhancing goodies lately, so this box is everything!
Goddess Provisions delivers a mix of 4-6 full size items in each box, ranging from aromatherapy, apothecary beauty products, superfood snacks, teas, crystals, books and more – vegan & cruelty-free, of course.
Cost: $33.00 per month. You can save a little extra each month if you sign up to be billed every 3, 6 or 12 months instead of monthly. You can visit their subscription page to see all the payment options available. Shipping to U.S. is FREE. Canadian shipping is $10 and rest of world is $20.
December’s Goddess Provisions “Call in New Energy” box included 5 full-size items:
Four Sigma Foods Mushroom Coffee, $15 – Instant mushroom coffee… definitely sounds intriguing, right? It’s a blend of dual-extracted Chaga and Cordyceps mushrooms with 100% Arabica Coffee that’s designed to give you a lil’ extra pep sans the mega gackeditude. Since I’m not a coffee person per se, and I’m makin’ mama milkies for my wee one, imma hold off on gettin’ my ‘shroomy java on, but I am super duper tempted to mix one of these packets with a bit of jojoba oil and make a face mask out of it (caffeine is awesome for fighting wrinkles ad dark circles). Stay tuned!
Frisky Fish Vibe Aromatherapy Ball, $14 – Subscribers received a surprise sent, and I happened to score Vibe (Geranium + Sweet orange), a lovely floral rose-like scent that is balancing, inspiring and uplifting. It really is a happy, mood-boosting blend, and unlike mainstream perfumes, Frisky Fish essential oil blends don’t contain artificial ingredients and are more personal and inviting.
SacredXStones Cinnamon Infused Lava Rock Root Chakra Bracelet, $7.50 – This SacredXStones is made with cinnamon-infused lava rock beads which can help stabilize energy and balance the root chakra. I’m a huge fan of diffuser bracelets. You just jab a couple drops of any essential oil, and it lingers with you throughout the day. I’m diggin’ the cinnamon as it’s perfectly suited for this festive time of year.
Skinchantment Radiance Nectar, $26 – This “nectar” can be used as a toner, makeup setting spray, or a spritzy a pick-me-up. I’m currently using it as a toner and I’m loving the soothing and refreshing lemon + lavender scent. It’s designed to keep the skin strong and improve cell turnover resulting in fewer scars and smoother skin.
Labradorite, $15 – If you’re not familiar with labradorite, it a GORGEOUS all-natural gemstone that has a unique iridescent display of colors, especially when the light hits it juuuust right. Labradorite is often referred to as the ‘Stone of Destiny’ as it is believed to help you to find your true path in life, it is also said to promote wisdom, understanding and patience and to help banish fears and insecurities. I’m excited to add this pretty lil’ magical rock to my ever-growing healing gemstone collection.
Overall impression: I adore receiving these boxes in the mail – they are SO. MUCH. FUN. All of the items are always super special and unique, and I love how they’re catered to making life a little more zen. This would make an amazing gift for a loved one (or yourself).
